Fingertapps Components provide pre-built touch and multi-touch interactions that run within the Fingertapps Platform. These components make it faster and more cost effective to develop multi-touch applications.
The Carousel is one of our most popular navigation components and is ideally suited for applications where there are between 5-15 categories or screens to be launched. It uses the physics engine included within the Fingertapps Platform to provide a natural feel of momentum and friction, making it easy for the user to spin, stop and then select their option. The Carousel is able to be used on any single or multi-touch screen that supports finger drag.
The Zoomer makes it easy for users to interact with complex layers of product information. The Zoomer is an engaging way to quickly navigate through detailed information that can be arranged into different categories or ‘regions’ within a master image. Within the Zoomer you can embed images, video, web links and Adobe(R) Flash(R) content. Navigation can support either single or dual touch gestures. Example applications include; product catalogues, interactive maps and corporate presentations. Solution developers can be provided with an easy to use layout tool, making it simple to create your own multi-layered interactions.
The Media Wall provides a fun, tactile way for the user to interact with videos and image content. Like all Fingertaps Components, the look and feel can be completely customized.
The Fingertapps Touch Directory brings business information to life in an interactive and engaging format. Built around the Carousel and Zoomer components, users can be presented with a range of media including video, text, images, 3D, web content and Flash® interactions.
The Fingertapps 3D Product Viewer enables the user to rotate the 3D model, launch hotspots from the model or select different attributes to change the model (e.g. colour). Models can be created using either high resolution images for photo realistic 3D or working directly with live 3D models (imported into Fingertapps via the Collada interchange format).
Fingertapps interactive games make best use of engaging user interaction and rich multimedia content. We have a range of pre-built games which can be integrated seamlessly into any multi-touch application. Alternatively, Fingertapps can create unique multi-touch games to custom specifications. Examples include:
